Personal Experiences
Do Dreams come true?? I would say Yes, absolutely. Dreams do come true....
Leh Ladakh was our Dream Ride & it came true....
Ladakh is not about the Destination, its about the Journey
I was Leh'ed a Year ago sharing my experience about Ladakh Expedition today....
Ladakh was in our Bucket list since before 2020, but it was not happening due to many reasons. Suddenly in July 2022, Manish & I were having some talk & he told me that Listen we can do this in September 2022 as from October it's not possible due to Harsh weather. So finally we started our Preparations.....our Excitement started from there itself but the main task is to take leaves from our respective Organizations...for Manish it was not so difficult as he is working with same organization since many years, so it is very Homely atmosphere but for me....I have literally written leave application for 15 days but I was firm & clear that whatever I have to do but will get my leaves approved...
Then we started our Riding gears Shopping, booking for train as in return I was coming by train from Chandigarh because I had to join my duty. Manish was doing Research for so many years so he was having knowledge & taken care about everything....I gave him a constant support in each & every preparations, but he knew mostly everything that how we are gonna do this....
Manish started from Pathankot & then I joined in from Srinagar....Our Ride began with a lot of excitement, we were thrilled...we started at 12 Afternoon from Srinagar as I took a flight from Ahmedabad & there was no direct connectivity. & we were riding through Sonmarg & I it was like I was so excited that I couldn't believe that I am physically there....in Kashmir...
On the first day of our ride we conquered the Mighty, Dangerous Zojila.....Goosebumps,Excitement, super Thrilled.....no words ....We stayed at Drass at night & then the next day Morning we went Kargil War Memorial....I cannot describe in words what I felt being there, it was like I was in between all soldiers out there who were fighting with the enemies. The Pride feeling, feeling of Gratitude & feeling of Patriotism is what I experienced that time.....
I feel Privileged that I got chance to visit there....
Jay Hind
That day was Hectic as we reached Leh at exactly 9:45 PM and everything was getting closed in the City. We took a Hotel, had Dinner & slept....
I m not going to write about every day as it will be too lengthy...
The day we rode to Khardungla was just another Level, at one time it was the World's Highest Motorable road in the World but now it comes on 5-7th position. U can't stay there for more than 15 - 20 minutes because of High altitude & crazy Winds. But after reaching there & watching people do Crazy things ...makes us Crazy too....That day we reached Nubra & the Beauty of Nubra is so so Majestic....
Nubra is Absolutely Beautiful.....that's it
Pangong Tso- One of the most Beautiful roads in India where one can feel the adventure inside them. When we rode here, it was one of the moments where I was smiling with the realisation that this country is so Magnificent where one can spend their Life travelling & exploring but still won't be able to unearth all the Magic that stays hidden. Its already so much written about Pangong on social media that justifies the Beauty of Pangong.
From Pangong to Jispa to Manali the roads, the view, the Landscape, the feeling, the feeling that we are saying Byes to Ladakh was so emotional......Tears rolled down as I m writing this line as it is not just a sentence for me it's a Feeling, feeling of Satisfaction, feeling of Pride, feeling of Happiness, feeling to be on the Top of the World...
Climb the mountain not so the World can see you, but you can see the World
I would like to Thank a lot of people for making our Dream Ride possible.
A Big Thank you to our Indian Army for their untiring efforts they put in our Life.
One thing which - was constantly with us starting from Srinagar to Manali in this Beautiful Ride was our Army - what a World Class service they are doing, Hats off & Huge Respect for them. They are doing incredible Work- U should ask k vo kya nahi karte he waha pe- they are doing everything, everything...from serving Kadha Prasad in the Gurudwara, standing on a Random bridge, taking the details of people at various booths, taking care & giving First Aid anyone who is injured, giving Lifts to someone really needy, most importantly taking care of our Boundaries - fighting with the enemies, the list is endless.
Dil se Shukriya to each one of the Soldier in India Army.
Secondly to Border Road Organization - for making buttery roads in a terrain where it is difficult to simply walk few steps for people like us & they are making roads. This was just Unbelievable - the passion they have for their Job is like we were literally getting Inspiration from this Beautiful people. Just imagine- ekdum isolated pahado pe jaha dur dur tak koi nahi he waha pe ye log raste bana rahe he ya fir koi raste ko repair kar raha he- how they r managing- hamari soch se bohot dur he ye sari cheezien jo ye log actual me kar rahe he....
Camaraderie of fellow riders made every mile Unforgettable - by just merely waving & showing Thumps up to each & every rider is enough whenever you feel Low even for a second. The Josh, the Spirit, the Passion that a Rider carries there is Unbelievable. Thank you To all the Riders who inspired us - One more & important thing is we really got some good friends in the form of Riders who are from the different part of the World, different states of India & we are still connected to them.
Thank u our Family, friends for supporting us, guiding us whenever we needed them.
Thank you my Mummy, my whole Family, masi, Manju mami, Minakshi mami for your support & all the help you gave us by your presence - u were there with us in staring phase till we came back Home. From preparing the small Kapur thelis to preparing Gud - Sunth ladoo for us....
Thank you to all of them if in case I missed out someone who have helped us in any small way possible....
We completed the whole circuit staring from Srinagar till Manali & then Chandigarh.....
Today one year is completed but seriously I feel like a part of my Soul is there in Ladakh.....& one more thing esa possible hi nai he k ab hum Ladakh vapis na jaye.....
Whenever we'll get chance, we'll definitely go without thinking for a second get ready for next expedition, bas koi pura Trip sponsor kar de....
One of thing - most importantly I would like to mention is that in our whole Trip we have not thrown any of our waste not a single wrapper even except dustbin. I believe in Save Earth, so being a Responsible Citizen of India it's my duty to see that my country is Clean & proudly I can say that I have done that....
Ladakh is not about the Destination, its about the Journey
Rugged landscape of Ladakh is Worth experiencing once in a Lifetime and if possible that to o on a Bullet
Thank you God for making our Dream come true.....
Safety tips for solo women travelers in India

A trip to Cambodia can be an emotional churn. The country still has reminders of the atrocities of the cruel Pol Pot regime scattered across the country’s landscape. In this blog, I will share with you my experience visiting the Tuol Sleng Genocide Muse
Know what happened when two young Indian women from Delhi travelled to the capital city of Cambodia. Our meet and conversation with a Buddhist monk at the royal palace with silver pagoda, our trip to the famous FCC and the amazing food.
If there is anything that can pull you away from the beautiful temples of Angkor Wat, it is the aroma of rice and Amok. Cambodia is a culinary delight for a foodie like me who can enjoy the evenings after exploring the fascinating country
Sri Lanka is my all time favourite destination for a family holiday; not only because of the golden grained beaches but also because of the offbeat experiences it offers at minimal costs. One such experience is island hopping in Koggala lake, not very far

As I walked down the cobblestone paths of a 'not so tiny' but quaint village of Şirince, I spotted the Turkish evil eye embedded in our path. I couldn't help but wonder about our own versions of it in India, the nazarbattu.
What I am going to describe to you in this blog is not for the ones easily embarrassed. This is my description of my first time at a Turkish Hammam. Now as Indians, we are well acquainted with the term ‘hamman mein sab nange hain’ but then when you actual

One thought always overwhelms me as I sit down to plan a holiday in the hills; will it be too crowded? Any true-blue Dilliwala can tell you how genuine this fear is. There is no hill station within a few hundred kilometers of Delhi, that has escaped us.
If you plan to travel to the enchanting Meghalaya, then you must visit the famed natural wonder, the living root bridge. We had the most thrilling experience as we trekked to the double decker live root bridge at Nongriat which is also known as Jingkieng

As a traveller who has visited Ladakh thrice in the last 20 years, I have one major advice to give….if you have time then step out of Ladakh and explore. One such place that will not require more than a day trip from you is Basgo Palace. Nestled among Lad
