Is it safe to take my 75 year old father to Kedarnath?

My father is 75 yrs old but walks 2 km every morning. He has recently recovered after being admitted to the hospital for 3 day for Covid. Is it safe to take him to Kedarnath. He wants to go but what options do I have if he can’t walk much there
